Every Sunday, Singapore's foreign domestic workers get their one day off — and for a small, spirited group of Filipino women, that day is spent chasing something entirely their own. This photo series follows these women as they transform themselves for a beauty pageant: doing each other's makeup in cramped spaces, rehearsing their walks, and stepping into a spotlight that their working week rarely affords them.
